Moscow structure

Moscow is organized on radial-circle principle. The boulevard ring surrounds the historical center of the city, like a horseshoe, and sets against the Moskva-river. It consists of 10 boulevards, built in the border of the city at the end of XVIII century.

The Garden ring was the relative border of Moscow in early XIX century. In close vicinity to it railway stations are situated. Inside the Garden ring main historical, cultural objects and sights, the majority of entertainment, business and trade centers are located.

The Moscow ring road stretches out to 109 km. It surrounds the capital and is the relative border of Moscow.

In order to lower the functioning of main transport highways of the city, between the Garden ring and the Moscow ring road the Third transport circle was built

Airports are situated out of the city line.
